Monet is my favorite painter. He spent his life studying and playing with light.

My "light painting" photography is an homage to Monet (he dreaded the advent of photography) and an attempt to capture the light travelling through his paintings. My aim is not to step back and take in the full picture but rather getting lost into a detail and work my way trhough the painting from there.

I am a regular at the MoMa's 5th floor. Metropolitan is great too but I can't wait to return to l'Orangerie in Paris.
